Online backup and recovery is provided through 'DMC Touchpoint', a secure, offsite, online backup system that can service your entire network, from desktops and laptops to servers. 'DMC Touchpoint' offers your business an enterprise level backup solution, supporting high level applications such as Microsoft Exchange and SQL Server.
'DMC Touchpoint' offers agentless, centrally managed backup schedules for desktop PCs, servers and applications. These backups are collated on a server held locally. This data is then itself encrypted and sent via the internet to a secure data centre located in Northampton. For total peace of mind, the data is also replicated to an ultra-secure data centre in London. The data centres offer secure and resilient environments for hosting customer data and are protected against infiltration and power outage. They are both highly controlled and access to the centres is restricted at all times, offering the highest levels of security.
The Touchpoint service has four main aspects:
Touchpoint Enterprise - for multi-platform server and desktop backup and recovery
Touchpoint Application - for applications and application servers
Touchpoint Client Lite - this is Touchpoint Client software, for backing up laptops and other devices that do not have a permanent connection to the company network.
Touchpoint Complete Business Continuity - this offers a high availability solution for Exchange, SQL, Oracle and file/print servers.
