SalesLogix System Requirements

SalesLogix supports the following software packages for e-mail, word processing, and faxing:

• E-mail
  • Microsoft Outlook XP or 2000
  • MS Exchange 2000 or 2003
  • Lotus Notes R5 in "Office Mode"
  • Novell GroupWise 5.5
  • POP3/SMTP (POP3 Internet mail)
  • IMAP/SMTP (IMAP4 Internet mail)

  • Microsoft Word 2000 SR-1a or higher
    
    
• Faxing
  • WinFax 10 or 9.0.2 with local modem
    
    
• SalesLogix supports the following relational database management systems (RDBMS):
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2000
  • Oracle 9i 9.2.0.2 with ISO 8859-1 character set.

The minimum and recommended hardware requirements for SalesLogix depends on the number of users, activity, load, size of database, and RDBMS.

SalesLogix Database Server

• Minimum requirements
  • Windows 2000 Server, or Advanced Server, Windows 2003 Server
  • 1 GB RAM
  • 2+ GHz processor
  • 4 GB of disk space for small database + free space for RDBMS files

Synchronization Server
