Last week at the Sage Visions 2004 Awards Dinner held at the London Royal Court Of Justice, Mike Ramsay, Managing Director of DMC Software Solutions based in Oundle, Peterborough, stepped up not only to receive the ACT! Business Partner of the year Award for the third year running but also the Saleslogix Business Partner of the year Award as well.
With over 400 companies actively selling these two remarkable CRM solutions from Sage, DMC saw off stiff competition to win these prestigious awards. And winning was no easy matter, as Mike Ramsay explains. "This is no beauty contest", he confirms. "You have to first of all apply to be considered and then you are judged on very demanding criteria - all of which must be backed up by hard documentary evidence."
"The judges look at your marketing, your sales and your service. And believe me, their standards are very high", Mike continues. "Naturally we're delighted to win ACT! Business Partner of the year for the third year running because it confirms our commitment to this excellent product."
Adding to this, the SalesLogix Business Partner of the year Award effectively capped off a very successful year for DMC. SalesLogix is the bigger brother of ACT! and for DMC to win this award after just twelve months of reselling this new product is nothing short of remarkable.
DMC Software Solutions began reselling the precursor to SalesLogix, ACT!, three years ago. Before that they had simply been users of the software. But as Mike says, "We were so knocked out by how powerful and easy ACT! was to use, as well as the way in which it transformed our business, that we simply had to sell it on to others! We are really quite evangelical about ACT!"
