A one-day course providing users of Sage 50 Accountant and Sage accounting software an insight into the more advanced features of the application. Delegates should have attended a DMC Software Sage 50 Basic Training Course before enrolment. The course includes tuition using plain English, showing students how to access the many functions of Sage Line 50, so they can use the software with confidence.

The DMC Sage 50 Intermediate Course consists of:-
Overview of the Application - Navigating around the application, using the shortcut keys and customising the main screen
Setting up Company and Program Defaults - A Sage training course where you can learn how to set up the application defaults, which will determine the way Sage 50 operates and an overview of user access rights.
Nominal Ledger - Setting up and modifying the nominal ledger and an overview of the chart of accounts and journals between nominal accounts.
Sales Ledger - Account status, credit notes and product and service invoices, setting credit limits and credit control, customer activity, repeat invoices, invoice disputes, suspending accounts, writing letters and printing labels.
Purchase Ledger - supplier activity, supplier invoices and credit notes.
Project Module - Introduction to the projects module.
Bank Accounts - Setting up new accounts, dealing with sales receipts, supplier payments, standing orders, direct debits and other recurring entries, batched supplier payments, cash payments, accounts transfers and receipts, printing remittances and reports
Financials - Trial balance, the audit trail, profit and loss, VAT return and balance sheet.
Products - The Intermediate Sage Training Course works as an introduction to the products modules. This involves setting up new products, so that you can create product invoices. And also includes training on stock taking, dealing with stock movements, bill of materials and stock shortfalls.
Correcting Errors - With the DMC Intermediate Sage Training Course, you can learn how to identify and correct errors and imbalances in your accounts system.
Excel Integration - Training on importing data from Sage to Excel, to make viewing and using your accounting data more flexible.
