While Sage 50 Accounts functions in the same way as Sage Line 50 it also includes a range of new and improved features. New Guides
Sage have introduced new guides for month/year end and VAT to provide users with instant assistance ideal for new users or those that carry out these processeson an infrequent basis.
Improved Video/simulations Guides
New interactive simulations guide for new users or users carrying out an unfamiliar task through- includes twenty or more ‘what should I do first’ and ‘regular tasks’ scenarios allowing users to build confidence more easily.
Improved Customer Receipts and Supplier Payments management
This feature allows users to deal more efficiently with Customers and Suppliers, filter, sort and add additional information to aid tracking (ex. ref). In addition, this new feature enables the creation of credits directly from invoices and automatic allocation.
New Cash Register/ Till takings
Process till takings quickly and easily with the new pre-configured screens designed specifically to record till and cash register takings, ideal for users involved in retail.
Improved VAT management
Sage 50 Accounts 2010 is fully equipped to manage the change in EC Sales List rules, scheduled for January 2010. All the revised pro-formas will be delivered by an auto-update ensuring that users maintan complaince.
Improved Management of recurring entries
Recurring entries within Sage 50 Accounts 2010 are now easy to view and manage. Users are now able to easily change the processing date and check payment details, amount or number of payments outstanding. With this enhanced functionality businesses can efficiently plan, reconcile or answer queries.
New File Import and Import templates
Sage 50 Accounts 2010 users now have the the ability to import .xls files and match the columns from data sources to Sage 50 Accounts tables. With this new features users can easily import information into Sage 50 Accounts without having to re-map files therefore reducing administrative errors.
New "Sage Pay" Integration
Credit card payments and refunds are made easy with Sage Pay Integration, transactions can be processed and downloaded to automatically update Sage 50 Accounts.
New ‘Pay Now’ Button on electronic documents*
Add a ‘Pay Now’ button to electronic documents (invoices, letters and statements) enabling customers to pay you quickly and securely via Sage Pay website. Any payments made can then be automatically downloaded to Sage 50 Accounts, ensuring efficient cash-flow.
Improved reporting Functionality
The new report browser allows easy management of reports. Users can clearly see which reports are used and when, with the opportunity to set them up as favourites for easy accessibility.
