Improved Navigation
Large buttons are used for frequently used tasks in the new version of ACT! making navigation simple. In addition, a new button has been added for use when creating anything new, from contacts to accounts through to opportunities and activities.
Customisable Opportunities
ACT! by Sage 2010 offers the ability for users to customise opportunities according to their existing sales processes and terminology. Product fields and tabs can be changed and the layout personalised. What's more, in ACT! 2010 opportunities can be associated to multiple contacts.
Integrated E-Marketing
With the introduction of the email marketing module managing an email campaign couldn't be simpler. Leads are organised in order, with the hottest leads at the top so time isn't wasted filtering results and organising call lists. In addition, targeting specific demographics is made easy with the ability to rank fields and the history of all campaigns can be viewed.
Web Info Links and Social Media
ACT! 2010 brings visibility of online resources directly into ACT!. For instance, information relevant to a contact resides in Google Maps and LinkedIn- this information is brought right into ACT! consolidating the information for easy viewing.
Streamlined Reports View
The new Streamlined Reports View in ACT! is designed so that reports can be managed simply, frequently viewed reports can be selected as favourites so that they appear in a separate menu for easy access. In addition, new reports have been included to enable easy identification of large opportunities.
Customisable Dashboards
The dashboards within ACT! can now be customised so that relevant information can be seen at a glance. In ACT! 2010 there are 12 new ways to capture the most mportant information to an individual role, view information as graphs, charts and lists.
iCalendar Compatability
iCalendar compatibility allows users to send meeting invitations to colleagues or clients that do not use ACT!, as well as any necessary meeting updates. There are no limitations to who can receive a request, any email host that accepts iCalendar works with ACT!. What's more, meetings accepted from a handheld device will copy directly into ACT!.
Related Tasks
Related Tasks is a new time saving feature that reduces keystrokes and the time taken to navigate between the most frequently used areas within ACT!. The related tasks menu changes to offer the most relevant options according to the task being performed. For instance, if you are in a contact view ACT! will offer options such as write a letter, attach a file, add a contact, print screen or relate to a contract.
Quick Access to Search Function
Access important information when you need it, with the new search function the information needed is at your finger tips. ACT! 2010 offers the search function to the user regardless of the view or screen that is currently occupied- no need to go through the lookup dialogue.
