System Requirements for ACT! Premium for Web

The specifications detailed below are for information only. For definitive system requirements please contact us on 01733 362120, the below requirements are to used as a reference only. For security reasons, it is advised that the Application and the database are situated on separate servers although this is not essential.

Server 1 - Web Server

Microsoft® Windows® 2000 Server
Microsoft® Windows® 2000 Advanced Server
Microsoft® Windows® 2003 Server Standard Edition
*All current Windows Updates and Service Packs must be applied
** It is recommended that the servers used are not primary domain controllers as these servers may be exposed to a public network (Internet)

Processor:
Pentium IV 2.4GHZ Preferable 2.8GHZ XEON

Memory:
2GB RAM

Hard Drive Space:
5GB Free Hard Disk Space

Hardware other:
CD drive and SVGA (800x600) or higher resolution monitor.
100 Mbs NIC
Firewall

Software:
Microsoft IIS V5 or above
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or above

Other:
Static IP Address (recommended)
Broadband Internet Access

Please Note:
If you wish to use MS Office you will need MS Office 2000 or above with all service packs applied
If you wish to open Adobe PDF documents you will require Adobe Reader V5 or above
If you wish to send emails using ACT! by Sage Premium for Web 2007 you will require an SMTP connection.

ACT! by Sage Premium for Web 2007 uses a restricted instance of SQL Server 2005 Express or Standard which cannot be used for any other product other than ACT! by Sage Premium for Web 2007.
