ACT! Business Partner of the year for 6 consecutive years

Peterborough based DMC Software announced today that they have acquired Surrey based Rowcol Solutions, a Sage ACT! Business Partner, for an undisclosed sum. Final contracts were agreed and signed on Friday last week.

Mike Ramsay, managing director of DMC Software Solutions said “ This is our first acquisition and we believe this is another way to grow our business in this difficult climate. Rowcol will give us an increase in our ACT! customer base in the South of the country. We are in a great position to offer these newly acquired clients the full range of the Sage and Microsoft products and a service that is second to none. Furthermore, we are also looking into several other acquisitions as we speak which may or may not come to fruition. It's all very exciting here at the moment.”

Glenn Lye, Managing Director of Rowcol Solutions said “ I believe this merger is very good for our customers as traditionally we have only really offered ACT! as a CRM solution. DMC Software solutions has had a good start to 2009. In 2008 turnover was up 12% on the previous year, 2007. The first quarter of 2009 also demonstrated growth on the same quarter in 2008, with profits in line with predictions. Furthermore, DMC Software has recruited a further seven people over the last three months to handle the demand for automated systems to help customers save costs. In particular, Sage 200, a mid-market accountancy package, is showing unprecedented growth within DMC due to customer demand for automation, a niche market that DMC Software Solutions excels in.
