SalesLogix v7.5 Released Today

Today Sage have released the latest version of SalesLogix CRM, SalesLogix v7.5. This new version of SalesLogix will enable a more comprehensive user experience for the Web, Windows and mobile clients.

The new and improved features are highly differentiated and set SalesLogix apart from the rest in the CRM market place. Based on the findings from the ‘Win/Loss Research Study’ 2008 changes have been made to Lead management, workflow, usability and web access capabilities.

The introduction of version 7.5 means increased productivity for all users and moreover greater operational efficiencies for the organisation. The new features within SalesLogix v7.5 include:

Usability Enhancements
  • You can now associate an attachment with meetings and phone calls, to-do’s and email items, so that any important information is always at hand.
Efficient Lead Management Capabilities

  • When importing leads into SalesLogix v7.5 organisations are offered more flexibility. Create a response is like a ‘pre-opportunity’ that acts as a reminder ensuring potential sales do not fall through the cracks.
  • Perform actions en masse to leads that you are importing, add notes, targets to a campaign and scheduling Activities.
  • Automated lead distribution ensures leads are distributed immediately so that they are dealt with when they are hot and are not missed. 
     
If you are a web client user there has been a significant number of advancements made including:
  • Access to tools required to enhance customer service experience via the web, create and manage returns, contracts and assets using the web client.
  • The step-by-step wizard makes it easy to import leads into SalesLogix.
  • Now, upon import you can perform lead de-duplication, providing you with more accurate data and greater flexibility.
  • Once you have performed a lookup and narrowed down your list you can save it as an ad-hoc group for use later. This is a quick way of building a list without using group builder or creating a query.
