DMC Open Day Starts Off With A Big Bang!
DMC Software the leading Sage Business Partner fired a 105 mm blank shell from an Abbott, seventeen ton, assault gun to start the their Customer Open Day "Businesses at War with Themselves". The event was held at a magnificent Jacobean manor Wadendoe House, Wadenhoe, Northamptonshire on the 14th June 2007
Despite the inclement weather, over one hundred and twenty customers attended the half day where they heard Mike Ramsay, Managing Director of DMC Software give a brief introduction to the day and the new DMC IT Support Service TotalCare. He also announced the launch of the new user groups planned for September this year. This was followed by David Pinches, Head of Product Development speaking about Sage Integration and the road map for Sage Products.
Afterwards all delegates where invited to attend three sessions of their choice throughout the morning. These included sessions on the new Sage 50 Suite and Sage 200 suite, SalesLogix, Sage CRM as well as TotalCare and DMC Professional Services sessions.
Following the mornings hard work everyone was treated to a barbequed lunch which was served with wine in the marquee. During lunch a raffle took place for three Nintendo WII Consoles which were handed to the lucky winners.
However, everyone got something as before leaving each delegate received a free remote control DMC branded BB Battle Tank to take home as a souvenir of the day.
Mike Ramsay, Managing Director of DMC Software said that "I believe this event has been even better than last year. I am really impressed that many of our clients have taken the time out and travelled here from all over the country to make this event a great success. We are seriously considering making this day an annual event".
One delegate, Tony Kenton, Managing Director, IT IQ said "This has been a brilliant day, very well organised and professionally run" and Kerry Lyon, Trotman Publishing said "Excellent day, really helpful staff and informative sessions".
There were many other positive comments from the guests that emphasised the success of the day.
